Greg Bassenian is an award-winning writer and director from Southern California. Greg received his B.S. in film Cum Laude from Boston University, and his M.F.A from U.S.C’s School of Cinematic Arts. His work has a deep narrative drive, incorporating narrative elements throughout.

He has directed both digital and national broadcast work for brands and agencies ranging from Fortune 500 clients like IPG, Weber Shanwick, Amgen, Novartis, Coca-Cola and Amazon to groundbreaking startups like FabFitFun, Flo Technologies, MTailor and more. His awards include a MoFilm prize for a national commercial produced for Coca-Cola, a Reel Impact Film Award for directing startup the Mom Project’s Anthem spot, and the Best Documentary prize for his debut feature film “Miracle in the Desert” about the Salton Sea environmental crisis.
