Coca Cola

Brief:  Coca-Cola approached us to create a :60 second advertisement, with :30 and :15 cutdowns, that could be used to tie in their partnership with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund to their Open Happiness campaign.  They wanted an ad that could play both digitally and for broadcast.

Challenge:   We were tasked with telling the story of a young teenager who was the first in his/her family to attend college.   Coca-Cola challenged us to highlight the protagonists community, family and mother as the support system by which he or she could get to college, and that this could be a “win” for everyone involved.

Solution:  We created a concept that showed our hero, Andres, celebrating his acceptance, but we then visually worked backwards, seeing his story in reverse, showing all the hard work, effort he put in to get there, highlighting his family and community along the way.
